Windies get to Clarke as Hussey and Wade pair up in 1st Test

The West Indies have got the Australian captain Michael Clarke out for 73 off 173 balls whilst test debutant Matthew Wade and experienced batsmen Michael Hussey have paired up to deliver a partnership of 33 off 16.5 overs. Australia are at a score of 248 for the loss of five wickets from 95.0 overs. In the West Indies innings total of 449 for 9 wickets with a declartion made by Darren Sammy Shivnarine Chanderpaul was the key batsmen for the Windies scoring 103 not out although every batsmen contributed a part for the Windies batting first innings.The Australian bowlers did fairly well. Michael Clarke gave opening powerhouse batsmen David Warner a bowl and he recievd two quick wickets to his name. In the Australian innings the West Indies bowlers have been going fairly well with Darren Sammy snaring in and taking two wickets, Kemar Roach taking 1 and Devendra Bishoo also taking just 1 wicket. Matthew Wade is on a total of 19 off 53 deliveries whilst Michael Hussey is carefully aproaching his 28th international Test match 50 with him sitting on 47 off 156 deliveries. Althought the West Indies are definitley favourites because of their bowling and batting performances in the first innings Australian number 5 batsmen and captain Michael Clarke still says victory for the Australian test team is possible. The West Indies will want to make use of this electric start due to drawn T20I and ODI series in both forms of the game.
